Common questions

How do I get a refund?

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by the store you bought from, not by us, so refunds have to go through that store. For an Android purchase, request the refund through Google Play; for an iOS purchase, through Apple. If the store declines and you believe something is genuinely wrong with the app, write to the app's support address above and tell us what happened — we would rather fix the problem than have you stuck with a purchase you cannot use.

How do I report a bug?

Email the support address for the app. The most useful report includes your device model and Android or iOS version, the app version (shown in the app's settings), the exact steps that trigger the problem, and what you expected instead. If the problem involves a particular podcast or a particular file, telling us which one usually shortens the investigation from days to minutes.

How do I request a feature?

Also by email, or in the Discord for Shuttle Music Player. It helps enormously to describe the problem you are trying to solve rather than only the solution you have in mind — there is often an existing setting that does the job, and where there is not, understanding the underlying need leads to a better feature. We keep every request, and requests that come up repeatedly shape what gets built next.

When will the iOS version of Shuttle Podcasts be available?

It is in development, including CarPlay support. We do not announce release dates before we are confident in them. The apps page is updated as soon as anything ships.

What do you do with my data?

As little as possible. There are no accounts, and your library and subscriptions stay on your device. The details are in our privacy policy.

How quickly will I get a reply?

We are a one-person company in Australia, so replies are not instant, but every email is read and answered. If you have not heard back after a week, send it again — occasionally a message is lost to a spam filter.
